Elizabeth Jane Hurley (born Elizabeth Jane Hurley) is an English actress, model and the former Hugh Grant girlfriend. She gained fame in the mid 1990s. Hurley accompanied Grant in his role, which was at that time at the center of interest worldwide because of the success at the box office of Four Weddings and a Funeral in Los Angeles. Her dress by Versace included a soaring neckline, and gold safety pins. The relationship she has had with Estee Lauder has been the major highlight of her career. Hurley was first offered a modeling contract with the company at the age of 29. The company has used Hurley as a product model specifically for perfumes including Sensuous Intuitions as well as Pleasures. Her best known cinematic work was in the role of Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers' hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley designs and models an eponymous line of swimwear. The track sparked debate, many critics claiming it of promoting homosexual relationships, and some saying that the sexually explicit scene was created to appeal to the male fantasies. I Kissed a Girl became the number one hit in the world due to its combination of sexual enticement and a refined tune. It also helped her sell more albums, such as the album One of the Boys. With its bouncy sharp-tongued 2nd single Hot N Cold also proving to be a hit, the album which Perry composed herself, eventually saw the sales of over three million copies in the United States.
